Fill the Gaps After the Flood Season, Stand Ready Before Winter

The autumn flood season is winding down and the main flood period has just passed. This is the window when local authorities review their waterlogging problems and shore up the weak points in their drainage systems - right before seasonal changeover maintenance and next year's stockpiling. Yet the practical constraints have not changed: limited budget, limited headcount, limited garage space. Buy a dedicated drainage truck and it works only a few dozen days a year. Huangshan Zhongguangtai Special Equipment Co., Ltd. (brand: Zhonghui Techeng) offers a different answer - the shelter approach: turn drainage capability into a stand-alone workstation that can be loaded and unloaded at any time and moves with any truck.

1. Separate the Truck From the Equipment: One Chassis, Many Missions; the Pod Goes Into Storage When Idle

The traditional approach is one truck for one job - a drainage truck only drains. The self-loading drainage shelter instead integrates the whole equipment package into a stand-alone pod: inside the pod are a diesel generator set, drainage units, a VFD control cabinet, elevating lighting, leveling outriggers, plus hoses, float rings and accessories. Under the company's modular design, the pod can be separated from the vehicle and recombined freely: load it when needed, unload it quickly for storage when not. The chassis no longer carries a permanent load, so it lasts longer and costs less to maintain, and a single chassis can rotate through several different missions.

2. About 180 Seconds to Load, One-Button Auto Leveling: Ready to Work on Arrival

On an emergency site, there is nothing worse than hearing: "the truck is here, but the water is still not moving." The pod relies on an electric self-loading system integrated with the workstation, so one person alone can load and unload it in about 180 seconds. Once in position, four support legs raise and lower with a single button; the outriggers extend up to 2,410 mm, and the maximum self-loading height is 1,050 mm. Working with a leveling smart controller, a tilt sensor and outrigger ground-pressure sensors, the pod levels itself automatically at the press of a button to an accuracy of 0.2-0.3 degrees. For night operations, elevating lighting takes over: one-button start, 360-degree rotation and remote control, with insulation resistance of no less than 400 MOhm at 500 VDC between live parts and metal parts.

3. Three Tiers - 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 m3/h: One Pump Family, Sized to the Flood

The shelter is offered in three total-flow tiers: 500 m3/h, 1,000 m3/h and 2,000 m3/h, corresponding to one, two and four 500 m3/h drainage units respectively, all with DN200 outlets, matching hoses and float rings, plus one lighting unit. Power is matched by a diesel generator set of no less than 30 kW, 50 kW or 120 kW (Yuchai / Weichai), with electric start. Measured performance of a single pump unit: 550 m3/h flow, 12 m head, 22 kW, 22 kg total weight, pump body no larger than 23 x 23 x 44 cm, 3,300 rpm and 61 percent pump efficiency. From urban flood-prone spots to underground garages and municipal pipe networks, users simply pick the tier by water volume - no need to keep large equipment sitting idle for the occasional big flood.

4. IP68 Pump Body + IP55 Control Cabinet: Pump Works Submerged, Crew Works on the Bank

Drainage sites are usually a mix of mud and water with constantly changing levels. The shelter's pump units are rated IP68, able to run fully submerged for long periods, with an impeller Vickers hardness of 1,500. The VFD control cabinet is rated IP55, weighs no more than 20 kg and measures no more than 26 x 26 x 52 cm - compact and light, so pump units can be placed more flexibly. Insulation resistance of the pump units is no less than 450 MΩ in both hot and cold states. The series has been commissioned-tested by a third-party inspection body: the high-power automatic drainage rescue shelter ZGT-1000 was tested to the salt-spray test method (GB/T 2423.17), and every indicator was judged qualified - the VFD control cabinet weighed 14.8 kg with a measured insulation resistance of 500 MΩ.

5. Your Phone and Laptop Are the Control Desk: Remote Monitoring, 4G Platform and Low-Battery Alerts

The shelter's intelligent control system supports monitoring from phones and computers: the interface provides start/stop, forward, reverse, slow-run and fault-reset buttons, together with time-window scheduling, remote monitoring, fault statistics and report management. The whole machine connects to 4G monitoring, letting managers administer equipment, check battery level, rename devices and using units, and set alarm thresholds on one platform. When battery charge falls below the threshold, the system pushes a low-battery alert to the user's WeChat. After the flood season, when the pod goes into storage and gets its seasonal service before winter, equipment status is clear at a glance - no more the awkwardness of “equipment in storage with the battery flat.”

Filling the gaps after the flood season is about buying more than a machine - it is about having the confidence to roll out at a moment's notice. Huangshan Zhongguangtai supports scenario-based customization of shelter configurations, a 72-hour fast response, and a seven-star after-sales service system. From urban flood-prone spots to underground spaces, from municipal pipe repair to flood-control standby, one shelter is one mobile pumping station.
