1. Product Overview
The crawler-type all-terrain emergency rescue vehicle is a high-mobility special vehicle independently developed by Huangshan Zhongguangtai for extreme and complex environments. It adopts an articulated twin-body structure: the front and rear car bodies are joined through an articulating mechanism, enabling pitching and serpentine (snake-like) articulation, with mechanical locking for all-track drive engagement.
Equipped with four wide tracks, all of them driven, the vehicle offers high obstacle crossing, wide trench crossing, low ground contact pressure and amphibious capability. It travels across snow, ice, mountains, wetlands and mud, and operates in severe weather — wind, sand, rain and snow — crossing shallows, rivers, swamps, deserts, mountains and snowfields where no roads exist, performing emergency rescue, cargo transport and personnel transport missions.
2.Field Test — River Crossing and Pumping Operation
The vehicle completed a full river test: driving into the natural river, crossing water of varying depth, and deploying a pumping operation on the spot. The whole process was completed smoothly.
3. Structural Features
● [Articulated twin-body structure] Front body carries the cab, rear body the equipment/power bay; the central articulating joint allows relative pitch and serpentine yaw between the two bodies, greatly improving performance on complex terrain

● [Low ground contact pressure] Wide tracks plus even weight distribution keep ground pressure far below wheeled vehicles — no sinking on wetland, farmland or snow
● [Amphibious] Sealed body with track propulsion gives a water speed ≥ 7 km/h — crosses rivers, lakes and shallows directly, without preparation
● [Through-passage] The front and rear bodies are connected internally through the articulated tunnel — crew can move between them during operations
